Strengthening Medical Education
The Medical Education Unit (MEU) plays a pivotal role in advancing the quality of teaching and learning across the institution. Its key functions include faculty development, curriculum enhancement, and the promotion of practical learning through workshops and hands-on training.
Our Objectives
The Medical Education Unit (MEU) actively contributes to the design, review, and implementation of the medical curriculum in accordance with National Medical Commission (NMC) standards. The unit:
- Supports outcome-based education and vertical/horizontal curriculum integration.
- Aligns the curriculum with defined core competencies and learning outcomes.
- Promotes the use of modern educational tools and interactive teaching methods.
- Ensures consistency, coherence, and relevance across departments.

Small-Group & Large-Group Teaching

Simulation and skills-lab training
Using simulation and skills laboratories to provide hands-on learning and strengthen practical and clinical competencies.
Competency-Based Medical Education
Supporting competency-based approaches that connect curriculum, teaching, assessment, and learning to graduate competencies.
